How much does motorcycle transport cost?

Do you really operate 24/7?
Yes. Bike Taxi operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including urgent and after-hours collections. Call 073 931 3353 to discuss collection arrangements.
Is the motorcycle transported in an enclosed van?
Yes. We provide enclosed motorcycle transport and use a collapsible ramp and cargo ratchet straps for loading and securing.
What motorcycles can you transport?
All motorcycle types, including sports bikes, adventure motorcycles, cruisers, scooters, classics and off-road bikes. Large motorcycles and trikes can also be accommodated. Send the make and model so we can plan the load.
Can you collect non-running bikes or locked wheels?
Yes. We can transport motorcycles that do not start or run, and assist with locked or seized wheels. Tell us about the condition before collection so we can plan the loading arrangements.
How far do you travel?
We cover Cape Town Metro, Northern and Southern Suburbs, Atlantic Seaboard, Winelands, West Coast, Overberg and Garden Route. Long-distance transport is available up to 2,000 km, with other routes considered by quotation.
Can you move several motorcycles together?
Yes. Capacity is up to four or five motorcycles, depending on their dimensions and the loading arrangement. Send the make and model of each bike so we can confirm your booking requirements.
What if my bike cannot be delivered immediately?
Secure overnight storage is available when immediate delivery cannot be completed after collection. We’ll discuss storage and onward delivery arrangements with you.
Can I drop my motorcycle at your premises?
We operate as a collection and delivery service and do not receive customers at our base. Please contact us to arrange a pickup location.
Does Bike Taxi provide motorcycle insurance?
Bike Taxi does not provide insurance cover for your motorcycle. Before booking, please confirm with your insurer that your own policy covers loading, unloading, transport and any agreed overnight storage. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your enquiry is a request for a quotation. The booking is confirmed when Bike Taxi accepts the job and payment and arrangements are confirmed.
