Who handles your information
Bike Taxi Pty Ltd, a collection and delivery business based in Kraaifontein, Cape Town, is responsible for information supplied to it. For privacy requests and to obtain the applicable contact or service address, email info@biketaxi.co.za or call 073 931 3353. Our base is not open to visiting customers.
What we collect and why
When you enquire, we receive your name, contact number, route, motorcycle details, preferred date, condition, urgency, notes and acknowledgement of the insurance notice. We use these details to respond, quote and arrange the requested service, and to handle related questions or disputes. You choose whether to enquire; required fields are necessary to process the request. Without relevant details, we may be unable to quote or arrange transport. Please avoid sending identity documents, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information through this form.
How information is handled
Email enquiries go to our inbox; the website has no submissions database. WhatsApp is optional and opens a message for you to review and send. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate these services; hosting security logs may include IP addresses and request information. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information to check for abuse. A security session cookie helps protect the email form. Google Fonts retrieves fonts from Google and may expose connection information such as your IP address.
Information may be accessed by people handling your enquiry and necessary service providers, or disclosed when legally required. WhatsApp, Cloudflare, Google and other providers may process information outside South Africa. Applicable data-protection requirements and provider arrangements must govern those transfers. Optional analytics and local listings
Google Analytics (G-3FMHZRCM3M) loads only if you accept optional analytics. It measures page visits and phone, email, WhatsApp, quote and enquiry actions without sending form contents. It can measure page visits and browser/device information using analytics cookies. The site does not intentionally send enquiry fields or WhatsApp messages to Analytics. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the website configuration. You may reject analytics and still use the website and enquire.
Your analytics preference is stored in this browser for up to six months. Withdrawing consent stops subsequent analytics on this site and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already collected. Contact us about access or deletion requests. If a Google Business Profile link is added, clicking it takes you to Google; there is no embedded map on this website.
Retention and security
Enquiry records may remain in business email or WhatsApp, and providers may keep operational logs or backups. Records should be retained only as needed for the enquiry or service, legal obligations and legitimate dispute handling, then deleted or anonymised. Contact us for the retention period applicable to your information. We use access restrictions and website security controls; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your POPIA rights
You may request access to your personal information, correction or deletion where applicable, object to processing where permitted, or withdraw consent for optional processing. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Contact info@biketaxi.co.za to make a request or raise a concern.
